ABOUT PARGUERA WATER SPORTS IN PUERTO RICO
Parguera Water Sports took its first baby steps in the summer of 2007. Master Captain Mendoza, founder of PWS, comes from two very important and influential backgrounds in his life: he worked as a Senior Sales executive for FedEx and the most important influence was his beloved father. He is also known as “Captain Uchy Mendoza”.
The summer of 1977 marked the start of his learning process. Going with his father as deckhand on unaccountable Marine Science Research Expeditions and Commercial Fishing Trips. Love and fascination for one of God’s amazing creations – the ocean – were the elements that ignited this small company. At Parguera Water Sports, services are provided day & night. We offer everything from supervised kayak tours in the bioluminescent Puerto Rico waters to boat charters around the island.

The best experience ever
Hi from Texas! A group of 5 of us went on vacation to Puerto Rico last week and had the most amazing time! Our tour guides were phenomenal! They took us out via boat onto kayaks where we then got to jump into the bay and swim in the bioluminescent bay! They even provided us with snorkels to use while in the water! It was the best experience ever and they were so amazing! 💯 customer satisfaction!! Thank y’all for an amazing night!

Trip of a lifetime
The gentlemen at Parguera Water Sports were skilled, thoughtful, and kind. They treated every passenger with respect and even gave us all extra time to put on the bio bay to make up for lost time that they had no control over. The views are once in a life time and the guides will make you laugh and feel safe the entire way. Could not recommend highly enough.

Amazing!!
This experience was something that my family and I will never forget! We had such an amazing time, first snorkeling, canoeing and a nice night swim at the bioluminescent bay! Our captain Irwin was the best!!! He was super knowledgeable, patient with my son (7 year old), and just such a positive vibe. We will for sure book again. For any families booking make sure to bring food as the experience is four hours long. We look forward to more adventures in the future.

Amazing!
The bioluminescent were sparkling in the bay and even brighter in the mangroves were we kayaked. We were the only ones in the bay for most of the tour. Captain Mendoza was a great guide and very knowledgeable on the surrounding areas and the bioluminescent. We highly recommend using him for your next tour in the bay.
